About Us
Our Story
The name FBI has always meant one thing: security and for Christchurch homeowners and businesses, FBI Security has been living up to that name since 1996. That’s nearly three decades of keeping Canterbury properties protected, which in this city means we’ve been at it longer than the rebuild, longer than the roar of Crusaders dominance at Orangetheory Stadium, and considerably longer than most of our competitors have been in business.
We’re a locally owned and operated security company based right here in Christchurch, and we work exclusively across the residential and commercial security space. That focus matters. We’re not a jack-of-all-trades operation that does security on the side. Alarms, CCTV, access control, monitored security solution: this is all we do, and we do it properly.
Our team installs and services some of the best alarm systems available in New Zealand, including Paradox, Bosch, Ajax, Risco, and Arrowhead. We match the right system to each client rather than pushing a one-size-fits-all solution, because a three-bedroom home in Halswell and a commercial warehouse in Hornby have genuinely different security needs.
What hasn’t changed in nearly 30 years is our approach. We listen first. We design a solution around your actual requirements. We install it cleanly and thoroughly. And we stick around afterwards, because a security system is only as good as the support behind it.
Give us a call today for a free, no-obligation consultation. We’d love to show you what proper security looks like.
